Strata: Semantic Search and AI-Powered Content Discovery

Strata brings semantic search to Storyblok. Query stories by meaning rather than exact keywords, and use the results to power site search, chatbots, and retrieval-augmented generation pipelines.

What’s new:

  • Semantic search: Query stories by meaning through the Content Delivery API and the Management API.
  • Draft and published content: Control which story versions Strata returns by choosing a preview or public access token.
  • Multilingual queries: Search in any language and receive matches from content indexed in the default language.
  • Reindexing: Trigger a manual reindex in addition to the automatic daily reindex.
  • MCP support: Search a Strata-enabled space from MCP clients, such as Claude, through the Storyblok MCP server.
  • Context-based queries: Send audience or product context as a query to retrieve related stories for personalized recommendations.

Strata is available on the Elite plan for one space per organization.
