Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft Einkauf und Logistik (BME) – Website Relaunch for a Future-Proof Digital Platform
The assignment was to modernize the BME website and translate the new corporate design and brand identity into a contemporary digital presence. YUM supported BME strategically and technically throughout the relaunch process. The objective was to significantly improve user experience, simplify editorial workflows, and create a scalable, secure technical foundation – while seamlessly integrating existing systems such as regional portals and the webshop. To achieve this, the website was migrated to a headless CMS (Storyblok) and implemented with a modular, component-based architecture. A statically generated frontend ensures high performance, stability, and security across all devices. The relaunch resulted in a consistent digital platform that connects the central association website, regional portals, and services in a unified user experience. The new setup is SEO-optimized, easy to maintain, and future-ready for further expansion.
