Österreich Werbung
The project was a complete strategic and technical transformation of Austria.info, the global digital portal for Österreich Werbung (the Austrian National Tourist Office), designed to serve 24 markets in 20 different languages. The primary technical challenge was to architect a high-performance, globally scalable platform capable of managing and delivering immense amounts of content and media assets with low latency worldwide. This was achieved by implementing a modern MACH architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless) with best-of-breed services like Algolia for search and Scaleflex for digital asset management. Storyblok was the core of this composable setup, selected for its powerful multi-language and localization features, which were essential for managing the complexities of 20 different languages. Its headless nature and flexible API allowed for the creation of modular, reusable content that could be efficiently adapted for each market, while its developer-friendly environment and strong SEO capabilities provided the foundation for a future-proof and highly visible global platform.
